The Saline County Sheriff's Office is responsible for the Saline County Jail. The jail is a modern facility with 89 beds. The jail houses inmates from other counties as well as federal inmates for the U.S. Marshals Service. This is a source of income to the county.

Currently the Saline County Jail employs 30 people. If you are interested in employment as a Correctional Officer at the Saline County Jail, please print, complete and return this application at your earliest convenience.

In 2007, a new addition was added on to the jail. This new addition resulted in 35 new beds. Since it opened, it has been at full capacity.

Visiting Hours
If you wish to visit an inmate at the Saline County Jail, regular visitation hours are scheduled Monday through Friday. Contact the Sheriff's Office for details prior to visiting.
